How AI and Smart Technology Are Transforming India’s Fo…
We wanted a place where you can go have great Indian food but not be in an Indian restaurant. And we’re able to run a chef-driven Indian restaurant with a great beer and wine list. You can have chicken tikka in a five-star Indian restaurant, and you can have it on a side street in Bombay. The first draft of the menu had a lot of street food—the papri chaat, which is here known as the chickpea and chips. You have 40 vegetarian dishes, you have 10 chicken dishes, you have 10 lamb dishes, and they’re all the same. So when you go in an Indian restaurant, the menu is pretty standard.
The menu pulled from Indian flavors but wasn’t bound by them. It was to rethink what an Indian restaurant could be. The answer wasn’t to open a better Indian restaurant.
Dining Offers
This year’s class of headline-making hotels and buzzworthy restaurants is reshaping the global travel and dining scene. The team behind Mexican fine-dining restaurant Corima and burrito hotspot Vato is opening a new bar this spring. The new project will include up to four vegan restaurants, an outdoor dining area, and a community space for live entertainment.
- Butler service, midnight suppers and curated social events shape the experience, alongside a signature restaurant, St. Regis Bar and spa suites with plunge pools and saunas.
- It is known for its authentic Mughlai cuisine, as well as its casual dining atmosphere.
- Jyan Isaac Bread just expanded operations to serve weekend brunch and weekday lunch menus at its Santa Monica outpost on Ocean Park Boulevard.
The overall vibe is trendy and inviting, attracting a diverse crowd, from food enthusiasts to those looking for a fun night out. The pricing is considered mid-range, offering good value for the quality and creativity of the food. The restaurant’s ambiance is lively and energetic, making it a perfect spot for both casual gatherings and special occasions. Badmaash’s interior design is a vibrant fusion of modern and traditional Indian aesthetics. The restaurant’s doors are open from Tuesday to Sunday. Located at 108 W 2nd St #104, Los Angeles, CA 90012, Badmaash welcomes diners to experience a unique blend of flavors and a lively atmosphere.
Indulge in Authentic Italian Cuisine with a T…
Our founders, inspired by their deep love for food and culture, envisioned a place that would break away from the ordinary and embrace the extraordinary. We believe dining should be more than just eating; it should be a journey of taste, culture, and joy. Our name, “Badmaash”, means mischievous, playful, and full of life, and that’s exactly the spirit we bring to our kitchen, our plates, and our hospitality. Officially, Badmaash is described as progressive Indian cuisine, but we choose to differ. Reminiscent of moong dal halwa but not half as rich, the badam halwa held its own with a far more delicate flavour profile—extra credit to the chefs at Badmaash for balancing the sugar with great elan.
- Badmaash is one of the most popular Indian restaurants in LA and it’s easy to see why – the food is fantastic.
- You are to be pleasantly impressed with reasonable prices at this restaurant.
- I went to a hospitality management school and did really well there, and I had been working in restaurants my whole life.
- He was interviewing with major restaurants, ready to continue building his career inside someone else’s system.
- When I hear the word “chef” I think of my father, and I’ll never be that because he has 40 years of experience over me.
- Designed by Bill Bensley, the restaurant reinterprets Victorian-era rituals and Singaporean flavors, tracing the hotel’s culinary evolution from 1887 to today.
BadMaash: Indian Food with a Side of Boss Sauce
We love our Indian food, we love our Badmaash Restaurant beer. A lot of people say, “We’re a fusion restaurant,” or “We’re a New Indian restaurant.” We just figure we’re an Indian gastro pub. It’s kind of like Indian barbecue, which has been marinated in yogurt with paprika, a little bit of ground red chili, and some other spices. The chicken tikka poutine, which is a classic French Canadian dish with fries, cheese curd and gravy.
