Brindavan Gardens itself was laid out between 1927 and 1932 as a formal “show garden” in a structured geometric terrace style. At the time, this technique was considered highly innovative and contributed to the strength of one of India’s Brindavan Gardens longest masonry dams. The dam stretches approximately 8,600 feet in length and rises about 130 feet above the river bed.

This garden is open to the general public with a minimal entry fee. Boating can also be enjoyed in the pond situated in the middle of the garden.
